Ruixun (Ray) Lin, L.Ac., EMP.

Licensed Acupuncturist & Second-Generation Practitioner

Personal Background: Ray’s journey into healthcare began at home. After seeing the positive impact of acupuncture on his own health through the care of his mother, Lee Huang, M.S., L.Ac., he was inspired to follow in her footsteps. Today, they work together at Able Acupuncture, bringing a combined family tradition of over 35 years of care to the community.

Education & Clinical Training: Ray earned his bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His training included a total of five years of rigorous academic medical school study and a year-long clinical internship in integrated hospitals. During this time, he rotated through various clinical departments, managing complex cases alongside senior physicians.

Clinical Focus: Ray specializes in Musculoskeletal Pain Relief, as well as Anxiety, Depression, and stress-related concerns. His modern, evidence-based approach is ideal for sports injuries, orthopedic rehab, and mental wellness. He utilizes specialized tools to support patient recovery:

  • Traditional Acupuncture & Electroacupuncture: Focused on nerve regulation and managing chronic pain.
  • Dry Needling (Trigger Point Release): Targeted mechanical relief for muscle “knots” and chronic tension.
  • Acupuncture Point Injection (API): Ray holds a specialized Washington State license endorsement for API. This advanced training allows for targeted natural injections to support deep tissue and tendon recovery.
  • Herbal Medicine & Manual Therapy: Incorporating customized botanical formulas, Cupping, Tui-Na, and Gua-Sha for a well-rounded approach to healing.

A Simple Goal

“I feel honored to work alongside my mother at Able Acupuncture. My goal is to serve our community—whether through precise care within our clinic or by supporting the health and well-being of our neighbors throughout the region. I am dedicated to helping those around me find relief from pain and a better quality of life.” — Ruixun (Ray) Lin, L.Ac.
